What have you learned this term?

What language skills have you improved and what new things have you learnt this term?
What helped you most in your learning?

How much learning do you do outside the class?
for example your Vocaroo recording or some blogging on the this blog or a study group!

See you in class!

  2. Hello Patric,
I have learnt a lot , and my English have improved , I really appreciate what you have done to help me improve my writing, reading and especially my speaking skill , I am now able to speak fluently and make less mistakes, I am no longer that shy student who is afraid to talk in the classroom , I remember the first class I told u I am not a “talkative person” … I am more confident now . Furthermore I have learnt new vocabulary items and new constructions which helped me a lot in my writing so that I can avoid repetition , It is really a tribute Patric , to your effort you helped me a lot , You have helped me build a solid basis for both academic improvement and social interaction.
I am so sorry that our sessions are coming to end we will miss seeing you.
My sincerest thanks to you and to my classmates .

  3. Hello Patric,
well first when i joined the group, i must confess that i was a bit shy to talk because i did not have enough vocabulary to make a good sentence to express myself. By now, i'm starting to try to improve my speaking skills thanks to all the members of the group and to you too Patric, though i still have diffuiculties to understand the british accent. In wrinting i've learned how to focus of the subject and to beat around the bush as i used to do. I think that this term is not enough for me to sharpen my knowledge in english but i surely suscribe for one to enhance it.
Thank you all for your kindness and help.
    See you soon.

  5. Hi Moujib,Ragda and Chiraz!

    Thanks for all positive comments!
I really appreciate the time you have taken to post up your comments!
It's good that you've made progress in your reading, writing, speaking and listening!

Chiraz: don't worry too much about the mistakes,as long as you learn from your mistakes and make progress with your English.

Moujib,Ragda and Chiraz:It's good you're more confident in the speaking activities.

    See you in class.

  6. Hi guys! How you doing?
So, I don't know exactly how much I have improved my skills. It's easier for me to evaluate my students than myself. However, the most important thing is studying everyday if it's possible, and of course trying to speak whenever you can. In fact, the week I have spent in London was amazing; I was surrounded by British accent and now I'm thinking: "If I lived in the UK for a couple of months, I would really improve my English". In fact, I'm looking forward to going to London again.
During our classes, I think the grammatical exercises are very useful for me. Sometimes I don't pay much attention and so I make many stupid mistakes.
Ok, that's all. Actually I don't have much time before the IELTS exam, so I really need to give my best in the following weeks, even if I have a lot of work at the University. 24 hours a day seem not enough. Could we just add a couple of hours to every day? Ok, I'm joking...
Thank you Patric for your advises!
    Bye then, see you later.

  7. Hi everyone! So, our lessons together are going to end soon... too bad, I really enjoyed having you as classmates. I also have to thank Patric for his advices and efforts.
I think I have improved my speaking skills, refined my grammar and my vocabulary and learned how to write a coherent text. I'm more confident when I have to express myself, even if I feel my accent is going through an awkward transition between British English and American English.
I just hope to remember everything I learned when I'll be doing the exam: I don't perform very good under pressure!
