In London the celebrations take place next Sunday beginning with a big parade in Chinatown and culminating with a big fireworks display in Trafalgar Square!

Chinese fireworks are soooo beautiful! I saw them in Hamburg, on the lake, and it was just stunning. In Italy we celebrate New year with fireworks that are moslty laud and tedious, but with not mush to see. Also in Moscow they had great fireworks. They used to make a big firework display at least two or three times a year, and the whole city would be bathed in a night full of colours.
