Some Tunisian people like rythm music, because they want to dance. But,in general, some of them like the lyrics.I think that, lyric music and classical one,are the main important music, because we find a deep meaning in the music, the lyrics have a message, also the composition and the singer must know select the text and the composition. However, as for me, nowadays, the Tunisian pop music is very ordinary and boring. In fact, sometimes it doesn't have any meaning and this is a real disadvantage for the nation music. How can we protect our identity?
So behind the music,we have text, composition and singer. If one of these things are missing,il would be a catastrophe for the nation and her culture !!!

Tunisian Music
Tunisian music is great and diverse.
There are many kinds of interesting music like classic, folk, jazz and rap music.
But Tunisian, in general like foreign music like middle east music, rock'n roll, pop and techno.
In fact, they search for the rythm and the diversity.
Actually, Tunisian people listen folk music in weddings.

A tunisian girl's opinion about tunisian music!!
I have to admit that there are actually some beautiful tunisian songs, but there are rare and usually old. The majority of tunisian songs doesn't really impress me, but some of them aren't just great, they actually are F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C !!
Tunisian people are into different kind of music, they listen to jazz, rock, metal and classical music. They are very open to different type of music from all over the world, and it contributes to their cultural diversity.
I want to believe that a tunisian singer could win the Eurovision contest, but it's highly unlikely considering the foreign competition!!

tunisian music
Unfortunately, Tunisian music is not well known abrod, even in the Arab World, at least not as much as the Lebanese and the Egyptian music. Hozever, there is a good variety of types like fok, and Rap music which is popular nowadays. In fact, Tunisian folk music is very typical and unique and very difficult to perorme, that is why it is wonderful to listen to.

I don't like Tunisian music,i like songs with intensive rythm and good lyrics inspired from our real life.I listen to some rock and MJ music.
Most people are searching for music with strong rythm to relieve their stress.

La Marsa
La Marsa is a very nice sea side resort north of Tunis but it's not a very cheap place for accommodation.
Apparently the sea isn't particularly that clean to swim in.
What do you think?
Can you recommend the best beaches and places to visit in Tunisia?

Welcome to the Tunis Class Blog
Hope you have fun writing up on the Tunis Class Blog!
If you fancy trying out the local Tunisian food your lungs will end up with loads of smoke in your lungs;pretty anywhere you sit in a restaurant/cafe you'll be surrounded by smokers!
Today the weather is quite hot;last week it was a bit cold and windy, more like British weather!
The La Marsa area on the north coast is a very nice and relaxing place to live but not that cheap.
